Feature
Rendered videos now support optional product linking and generated thumbnails
PufferCut now gives merchants more control over how finished videos land in Shopify and makes completed renders easier to recognize at a glance.
- Choose whether a new render should automatically attach to Shopify product media, so you can keep some videos saved in the library without linking them right away.
- Rendered videos now get generated thumbnails that show up in the app library and preview flows instead of falling back to a blank state.
- When a render is linked to Shopify product media, the generated thumbnail is also pushed as the Shopify video cover image.

Improvement
First-run setup, saved presets, and video review flows are clearer
PufferCut now does a better job guiding first-time merchants, making saved presets easier to scan, and giving rendered videos clearer names inside the app.
- Home now includes a first-run setup guide that tracks progress toward the first queued render and points merchants to the next useful action.
- Saved presets are easier to review at a glance, with cleaner preset cards and more useful preset details for scanning before opening one in the editor.
- Newly queued videos now get more descriptive names based on the product, template, and format.

Feature
Editor presets and an interactive scene timeline speed up editing
The editor now lets merchants save reusable presets from video bases they like and move through scenes more directly while building product videos.
- Save a video base you like as a preset, so you can reuse the same setup instead of rebuilding common video configurations by hand.
- Apply saved presets to start new drafts from your preferred structure, pacing, and content setup.
- The scene timeline is now interactive, so you can click directly into scenes and move through the draft with clearer visual feedback.
- Saved presets and direct timeline navigation make it faster to adjust pacing, copy, and scene-level content before rendering.

Improvement
Video templates are more readable, adaptive, and easier to tune
PufferCut video drafts now make better use of the editor space, handle more formats cleanly, and give merchants clearer control over pacing, branding, and color.
- Video previews now scale to the available editor container instead of relying on a fixed pixel cap, so wide and tall formats use the workspace more effectively.
- Template pacing was rebalanced with smarter scene timing and slightly longer default durations, making showcase and ad videos easier to read without changing their core structure.
- Color presets were expanded with more distinctive palettes, brand overlays now keep long shop names readable.

Rendered videos are easier to review, download, and manage
The video library now supports a cleaner review workflow, faster access to linked products, and more reliable Shopify Files navigation.
- Preview rendered videos inside the app with a dedicated in-app player instead of leaving the videos page.
- Download completed videos directly to your device from the card or preview modal.
- Most common actions are visible with a simplified action bar, while secondary file-management actions move into an overflow menu.

Feature
Multiple product images now flow into video templates
PufferCut can now use more than a single product photo, making generated videos feel less repetitive and more product-aware.
- The editor now loads up to eight Shopify product images instead of only the featured image.
- Video templates can automatically rotate between hero, secondary, detail, and context shots.
- Merchants can override image selection by frame when they want a specific angle or close-up in a scene.

Improvement
Brand overlays can now include your shop name
Logo overlays are now more useful for storefront branding, with support for showing a shop name beside the mark.
- Add a shop name directly in the video editor for the current draft.
- Save a default shop name in Brand Kit so new drafts pick it up automatically.
- The shared brand overlay now supports logo-only, name-only, or logo-plus-name treatments across templates.

Improvement
Link and unlink videos from products on the videos page
The videos page now makes it easier to control whether a rendered video is attached to a Shopify product.
- Link a video back to a product directly from the videos page.
- Unlink a video when it should no longer appear on that product.
- Manage product-page video relationships without leaving the video library workflow.
