Change, Upgrade, Downgrade, or Cancel

Manage PufferCut plan changes, Shopify billing approvals, trials, and cancellations.

PufferCut billing is managed through Shopify. When you choose a paid plan, Shopify shows the billing confirmation screen before the subscription is approved.

The Shopify billing confirmation screen is the source of truth before you approve a paid subscription.

Upgrade a plan

Open PufferCut, go to billing or settings, and choose the plan you want. Shopify will show the subscription terms before you confirm.

Upgrade when you need watermark-free videos, more monthly renders, or premium workflow features such as saved brand kit defaults and logo defaults.

Downgrade a plan

If downgrade options are available inside PufferCut, choose the lower plan from the billing area and review the Shopify confirmation. If you do not see the option you need, contact support with your store domain and current plan.

Downgrading may reduce your monthly render allowance, restore the Free plan watermark on future previews and renders, and reduce premium feature access. Download any videos you still need before changing plans or uninstalling.

Cancel a paid subscription

App subscriptions are managed through Shopify billing. You can also uninstall PufferCut from Shopify admin if you no longer need the app.

Uninstalling stops future app access and may cancel the active app subscription according to Shopify billing rules. See uninstall PufferCut for the practical uninstall checklist.

Billing questions

For billing support, include:

  • store domain
  • current plan
  • charge or subscription shown in Shopify
  • date of the billing event
  • what you expected to happen

Do not send payment card details in support requests.
