Plans and Shopify Billing

Learn how PufferCut billing works through Shopify, including trials, subscriptions, plan limits, and cancellations.

PufferCut billing is handled through Shopify. Charges, approvals, and subscription changes appear in Shopify's billing flow rather than through a separate payment account.

The billing area in PufferCut shows your current plan, renders used this cycle, remaining renders, and billing cycle dates.

Approving a plan

When a paid plan or charge is required, Shopify will show the billing terms before you approve. Review the price, trial terms, billing cycle, and render allowance before confirming.

The Shopify billing confirmation screen is the source of truth before approval. If the app, help center, and Shopify confirmation screen ever appear to show different terms, use the Shopify billing confirmation screen and contact support.

Trials and plan limits

Plus includes a 7-day trial and removes the PufferCut watermark from previews and rendered videos. Pro removes the PufferCut watermark but does not include a trial. Free does not require a trial because it is already a free plan.

Previewing does not use a render. Starting a render uses one monthly render allowance. See render allowances and failed renders.

Changing or cancelling a plan

Subscription changes are managed through Shopify. Depending on the current app configuration, you may be able to change plans inside PufferCut or through the Shopify admin billing area.

Uninstalling PufferCut

Uninstalling the app from Shopify stops future app access and may cancel the active app subscription according to Shopify billing rules. Keep a copy of any downloaded videos you still need before uninstalling.

Billing support

For billing questions, include your store domain, the plan or charge shown in Shopify, and the date of the billing event. Do not send full payment card details in support requests.
