Data and Uninstall Requests

PufferCut uses Shopify store and product data to create product videos. The app may also store settings and render information needed to provide the service.

Data used for videos

PufferCut may use product titles, product images, prices, shop settings, brand kit values, render settings, generated video metadata, and support details you provide.

PufferCut uses Shopify product and file permissions for product-video creation. See Shopify permissions PufferCut uses for a plain-language explanation.

After uninstall

When you uninstall PufferCut, Shopify sends app lifecycle events that help the app stop access for that store. Some stored operational records may be retained for legal, billing, security, backup, or support reasons as described in the privacy policy.

Requesting deletion

Use the support page to request deletion or ask privacy questions. Include your store domain, the request type, and the email address we should use for follow up.

Do not include sensitive payment information, Shopify passwords, or unnecessary customer personal data in the request.

Downloaded videos

Videos you have already downloaded or published outside PufferCut are controlled by you. Uninstalling the app does not remove files you saved elsewhere.

If you attached a video to a Shopify product page, review the product's media area in Shopify admin before uninstalling.
